TOMS Shoes, founded in 2006 by Blake Mycoskie, is known for its unique slip-on design that combines clean lines and lightweight fabrics in vibrant colors and prints. The idea for TOMS was born when Blake was inspired on a trip to Argentina by the traditional "alpargata." Moved by the poverty and health issues he witnessed, he set out to reinvent the shoe for the U.S. market with one goal in mind: to make life more comfortable for those in need.

To fulfill this mission, Blake pledged to match every pair of TOMS sold with a donation of a pair to a child in need. Simply put, when you buy a pair of TOMS, a pair is given to someone in need on your behalf. In their first year of operation, TOMS sold 10,000 pairs of shoes and Blake personally led the annual Shoe Drop in Argentina to give back to the children who inspired him.

Today, TOMS Shoes come in a variety of colors and fabric options for men, women, and children with the introduction of the Tiny TOMS line.
